The Northern Illinois Tactical Shooting Club (NITac) will be holding several classes in basic pistol shooting. Taught by NRA
certified and experienced instructors in a safe, friendly atmosphere. . This NRA approved course will cover the following topics:

Course Tuition: $90.00 per student

Students are required to bring the following:

A valid Firearms Owner ID (FOID) card (You must be 21 or older to attend this course). |
|
|
A safe, functional firearm. Either a revolver or a semiautomatic pistol. |
|
|
The Owners manual for your firearm. |
|
|
50 rounds of ammunition designed to function safely in your firearm. |
|
|
Safety glasses or goggles. |
|
|
(NITac's safety policies do not accept typical prescription glasses alone for use as shooting glasses. The student must wear one of the following: ANSI Z87.1 rated safety glasses, goggles over
prescription glasses or dedicated-use shooting glasses)

|
|
Hearing protection: either ear plugs or muffs are acceptable. |
|
|
Small notebook and pen (a steno pad is ideal). |
|
|
Cleaning equipment and materials for your firearm. |
|
|
Comfortable clothing and a baseball cap or other cap with a bill. |
